This guide will demonstrate how to use your laptop as a second display, if you prefer working across multiple screens.
To open your settings, right-click the Windows icon and select Settings
. Next, click on Display
located on the left-hand side. This action will lead you to the screen displayed below.
Click the dropdown menu labeled Duplicate these displays
and change the selection to Extend these displays
.
From this point, you can rearrange displays 1 and 2 to reflect their positions on your desk. This adjustment will make mouse movements between the two monitors smoother. Click Identify
to determine which monitor is 1 and which is 2.
