1Password

We use 1Password to manage and generate all required passwords. Given the sensitive information we handle, such as SSNs and DOBs, we adhere to a strict policy of using complex and unique passwords for each site we visit. 1Password facilitates this by suggesting a password each time you register for an account and allowing you to save it within the application.

1Password locks each time you secure your computer, requiring you to unlock it when you return from a break.

Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is used for all internal communication, including chat, video calls, and audio calls.

Microsoft Outlook

Used for email communication.

VPN / Server

By connecting to our VPN (Sophos Connect), you can access our server. You can connect to the VPN by clicking on the Sophos Connect icon in your taskbar and logging in with your computer's username and password.

Being connected to the VPN allows you to access the Shared and Home drives:

• Shared: This part of the server is shared across teams.
• Home: This is your personal space on the server that only you can access. We recommend storing important work documents on the Home Drive as it is backed up regularly, unlike your computer.
